Recommended Dosage

As a supplement for hair, nail, or skin health we recommend taking 2 capsules (500 mg) per day, with or without food. We do not recommend exceeding 4 capsules (1000 mg) per day.

Side Effects

Keratin is commonly used as an oral supplement and as an ingredient in salon treatments. The oral keratin supplements are very safe with few reported side effects, though salon treatments using keratin as an ingredient should not be used as such treatments often contain high levels of formaldehyde.
